Frequently Asked Questions
Q. If I don't achieve 75% in my first attempt at a program's
multiple-choice assessment, can I try again?
A. Yes, simply try again, perhaps after returning to the lecture for some
revision. KAB believes assessment is a vital component of training, but it
should not deter people from the courses.
Q. Why is there so much information in some lectures on the body and
anatomy?
A. KAB believes people must be fully informed about the health
effects of incorrect seating; to understand these health effects, and how to
properly use seating, it's important to know how the body works.
Q. As an employer, will completion of a training program by an
employee assist in my legal duty of care to provide information and training to
employees in regard to hazards associated with seated work?
A. Yes, the KAB Institute training programs assist in satisfying the
employers duty of care to provide information, training and instruction in
regard to hazards associated with work. The employees successful completion of
training is recorded by the KAB Institute, and the employee receives a
certificate to show the information and training has been provided. This
process is far more comprehensive than previously offered for seated work.
